Treating Yourself to the City’s Best Treatments

Pampering

Treating Yourself to the City’s Best Treatments It’s impossible to go anywhere these days in a major international city and not stumble across a spa or expensive or otherwise indulgent stores. In London, there is an array of options that really run the gamut.

Morning

At the Spa at the Mandarin Oriental, there are few treatments for which they are known. One of them is a remedy to combat jet lag, called Ginger Ritual, which incorporates the use of shiatsu massage to bring you back to life, or its Oriental Harmony, which incorporates two therapists, working in unison. They’re both about a two-hour session and start from a whopping £250.

If you need a spa treatment that is more a result of overindulgence (food, wine, etc.) Bliss London (yes, it’s an outpost of the U.S. spa company) has a Hangover Herbie treatment, a head-to-toe detoxification experience that soothes without abusing your body any further

Afternoon

After your indulgent morning (or early afternoon), look for some bling at Hatton Garden, London’s answer to New York’s Jeweler’s Row and which boasts more than fifty shops. Or for a more James Bond-like experience, Wint & Kidd (named after Bond villains) is an exclusively, diamonds-are-forever store, with rare colors available for the right price.
