Morning

Start your day early in the town of Amboise, situated only a fifteen-minute train ride east of Tours. From here you will board a Jet Systems helicopter for a once in a lifetime flight over the Loire Valley, including la Pagode de Chanteloup and le Château d'Amboise. Soar above the towns of Chaumont, Blois and Ménars before getting a bird’s eye view of Château de Chambord and Château de Cheverny. The return trip to Amboise is highlighted with a flight over the grandiose Château de Chenonceau.

Afternoon

After returning to Tours, pick up a bicycle around the corner from the train station and follow the marked Loire Valley bicycle route map along the River Cher towards Château de Villandry. Ride through pristine French countryside, passing vineyards and fields of flowers before arriving at the 16th century Château, a castle owned by the Le Breton family for over two centuries and Emperor Napoleon’s brother Joseph Bonaparte. Walk through the famous Renaissance style gardens, considered the most beautiful of their kind in the country and tour the castle.
