24 Hours of Extreme Brussels Adventures

Adventure

24 Hours of Extreme Brussels Adventures The day before, you should arrive into Gare du Midi station in Brussels and make your way to the minimalist The White Hotel in the chic shopping district around Avenue Louise, a short walk from place Flagey, place du Chatelain and place Stéphanie. Try to get an early night -- you’ve got a busy day tomorrow.

Morning

You’ll need to rise bright and early this morning, in fact well before the dawn, to get to Grez-Doiceau, just outside of Brussels. This is your rendezvous location for a hot air balloon ride over the green hills and forests of the Brabant Walloon province. Take part in inflating the balloon prior to take off and stay aloft for at least an hour. Your destination will be determined by wind direction and you’ll be transferred to the take off site in Céroux, Villers-la-Ville or Waterloo. Upon landing, you’ll receive a flight certificate and a glass of Champagne to enjoy.

Afternoon

After soaring to new heights, prepare to sink to new lows as you dive into the world’s deepest swimming pool at Nemo 33. Divers need to bring their own buddy or single divers can hire one of their professional instructors for the duration of the dive. Certified divers need to show identification and non-certified divers will need to hire an instructor. The water in this 100 foot (33 meters) deep pool is heated to a very comfortable 86 degrees, there are 250 anchoring points and a number of caves and pits at various levels.

Dry off and get the adrenalin pumping at Brussels Formula One Indoor Karting. You’ll be driving a specially designed Honda 200c.c. Biz kart on a flexi-track complete with pit stop, traffic lights and rubberized guard rails.
